Modules

There are a variety of modules offering instruction to faculty and student audiences. With these modules we hope to impart innovation and excellence in academic nursing. 

AACN currently hosts online education modules for a limited content area but starting in the Summer of 2017 these modules will be increased in quantity and quality after an association level review and needs assessment. As a way to remain ever responsive to the needs of our nursing community this portfolio of offering will continue to grow.

 
QSEN Modules

These cutting edge, interactive learning modules are available to all nurse faculty and students in entry-level and graduate-level registered nursing programs and can be accessed through AACN’s collaboration community. Faculty will have the opportunity to earn American Nurses Credentialing Center contact hours for each QSEN competency learning module.
 
Background: Between 2010 and 2014, AACN led a faculty development effort linked to the national QSEN initiative funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. To build on AACN’s commitment to further disseminate the QSEN teaching strategies, AACN is launching thirteen web-based learning modules focused on six core competencies:

  • Quality improvement (QI)

  • Informatics

CNL Modules

 

The only comprehensive online review course that reflects the content outline of the CNL Certification Exam.

Developed by practicing CNLs and academicians, the course will be offered in 12 modules and may be used by individuals preparing for CNL certification or by other healthcare professionals seeking contact hours.  With each module, you will have 24/7 access. Successful completion will require reviewing the entire presentation, and completing an assessment and evaluation.

Pricing: 

  • The complete CNL Certification Exam Review Course may be purchased for $279 or modules may be purchased separately for $59.
  • Institutions may purchase a license for $2,500 which allows up to 20 users. View License Information

Important Note: Access to the content of a module is only time-limited (3 months) after you have accessed the assessment of that particular module.
