The AACN/CDC’s Collaboration with Academia to Strengthen Public Health Workforce Capacity is pleased to announce funding support for Doctor of Nursing Practice Informatics Project Awards. The partnership project will provide two awards of up to $6,000 for project grants to DNP students at an AACN member school in a DNP informatics program or in a DNP program in another area of advanced nursing practice, but with a background in informatics. These grants are intended to support DNP final projects focused on the use of data, data tools, and the public and population health/social determinants of health to improve health outcomes. Awards will be dispersed in four equal quarterly payments after receipt and acceptance of the required progress reports.
