Ball State University is seeking a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Nursing to start August 17, 2018.  Responsibilities include classroom teaching and clinical supervision in undergraduate and/or graduate courses. Evaluation of student competency in simulation laboratory and clinical settings may be required in certain undergraduate courses. Student advisement and counseling on academic progress and related activities included.  The successful candidate will also perform research and service activities.

Minimum qualifications:  Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.  Earned doctorate in nursing or a related field (PhD, EdD, DNP with NP national certification) from an accredited institution by date of appointment.  Current unencumbered Indiana State Registered Nurse License and eligibility for Registered Nurse License in Indiana. 

Preferred qualifications:  Teaching experience in higher education. Clinical nursing experience in related area of teaching.  Demonstrated scholarship activities.  Record of published research in refereed journals.  Ability to communicate effectively.  Ability to integrate technology in nursing education
