Lauren Inouye, MPP, RN, AACN’s Associate Director of Government Affairs

Lauren Inouye is the Associate Director of Government Affairs at the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN). At AACN, she spearheads the association’s Grassroots Network, comprised of over 10,000 member deans, faculty, students, and practicing nurses. Prior to joining AACN, she worked as a critical care RN at Georgetown University Hospital and served as the hospital's Legislative Council co-chair from 2009-2011. Lauren earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI and her Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
