The American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) seeks an Admissions & Outreach Manager to support the student admissions application service for nursing, NursingCAS. NursingCAS is utilized by 275+ nursing schools across the country. This position is responsible for coordinating the recruitment, education, and retention of participating schools. The Manager will also plan NursingCAS events (e.g., on-site, email campaigns, social media, virtual fairs). The individual will support the Director of Strategic Partnerships with operations and strategic initiatives to achieve growth and user satisfaction from enrollment management teams at member schools.
Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field. Equivalent training and work experience may be substituted for the area of study. The position requires at least three years or more of related work experience, preferably in an association or at a university.
Background with web-based technology and higher education preferred, specifically with admissions, enrollment management, student recruitment, membership or constituent relations. Must be a self-starter, collaborative, highly organized, and detail oriented. Additional qualifications include excellent ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written forms of communication, and presentation and interpersonal skills. Occasional travel required for this position.
