AACN invites academic nursing administrators, faculty, and staff to attend the 2024 Diversity Symposium. This national forum features diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) leaders who offer valuable guidance for schools transitioning from awareness to action in preparing students to provide equitable healthcare in an ever-changing landscape.

Diversity Symposium Objectives

Create strategies to advance academic nursing organizational changes that advance diversity, equity and inclusion and leads to improved student outcomes.
Explore local and national regulatory changes that impact the implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies in academic nursing.
Examine strategies for academic nursing to achieve improvements and advances in health outcomes across vulnerable populations.
