Thank you for your interest in a FREE copy of the COMFORT Communication curriculum!
Project Overview: The COMFORT Communication for Oncology Nurses is a professional training program funded by the National Cancer Institute to improve patient-centered communication across the cancer trajectory. Using the evidence-based COMFORT Communication curriculum, nearly 400 oncology nurses nationwide have attended a 2-day train-the-trainer course in order to improve patient-centered care at their institutions and learn how to provide exceptional training to their colleagues. The positive feedback received from participants has helped shape the curriculum into its best version and we are excited to pass this along to YOU!
Curriculum Overview: The COMFORT curriculum summarizes the basic principles of palliative care communication and provides 7 evidence-based communication modules. The goal of the curriculum is to provide oncology nurses with tools to improve patient-provider communication at their institutions.
