Upcoming Webinar: NIH All of Us Research Program – Join the Nationwide Initiative

On Tuesday, December 10 from 2:00-3:00 pm ET, AACN will host a webinar titled, “NIH All of Us Research Program - Join the Nationwide Initiative.” This webinar will give an overview of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) All of Us Research Program, cover AACN’s role in advancing the All of Us program, and walk AACN member schools through the grant application process for Phase V. Since 2017, AACN has partnered with NIH to award 25 nursing schools grants in order to stimulate interest in biomedical research in underrepresented communities across the country.

Interagency Autism Coordinating Committee Announced Call for Nominations

The Office of the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is seeking nominations for appointment to the Interagency Autism Coordinating Committee. The nomination(s) must be submitted by Friday, January 17, 2020. The Committee is looking for individuals on the autism spectrum, parents or guardians of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), leaders or representatives of major ASD research, advocacy and service organizations, healthcare and service providers, educators, researchers and other individuals with professional or personal experience with ASD.
