Vanderbilt University School of Nursing currently has positions available for tenure-track professors, associate professors and/or assistant professors in these priority areas:

  • Oncology
  • Cardiovascular Health
  • Data Science

Appointments may be made at the rank of assistant, associate or full professor, commensurate with experience. Candidates for consideration as professor or associate professor should have consistent and exceptional records of research/scholarship as demonstrated by a history of external grant funding, scholarship (such as publication), teaching excellence and professional service.

Qualifications:

PhD or equivalent research doctorate. Postdoctoral experience is preferred. For a professor or associate professor appointment, the successful candidate will have an established competitive program of research and strong evidence of potential to develop a competitive program of research. For an assistant professor rank, candidates should have sustained productivity appropriate for career state and demonstrated interest in interdisciplinary collaboration. Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience.
