Job Summary
The Associate Dean of Research and Graduate Programs is a faculty member with administrative and teaching responsibilities in the graduate program. The Associate Dean and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the graduate nursing programs as well as the development and advancement of research initiatives and infrastructure within the College of Nursing. The Associate Dean provides leadership and support to graduate programmatic directors within the College of Nursing.
Requirements
Master’s degree in nursing required, Doctoral degree in nursing or related field (PhD, DNP or equivalent) preferred. Successful record of obtaining and managing externally funded, health-related grants or contracts. Record of senior authorship in peer-reviewed publications. Experience in mentoring fellow faculty, researchers, and students in research related activities. Experience with Accrediting bodies and Accreditation processes/requirements. Experience in administration or teaching at the graduate level.
