The Program Director is responsible for measuring accountability, developing and implementing action plans, providing extensive daily feedback regarding operations, ensuring that guidance is standardized and meets Northcentral University quality expectations, communicating with internal stakeholders, and reporting status to the Dean. The Program Director will also be responsible for answering questions about various components of the Nursing degree programs and overseeing the resolution of student complaints. This position requires intensive interaction with full-time administrative and teaching faculty and many other internal stakeholders. The Program Director must be comfortable providing substantive, critical feedback to team members.
Education and Experience
- Doctoral degree (PhD, DNP) with a focus in Nursing or a closely related profession from a regionally accredited institution required; AACN or CCNE accreditation strongly preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years xperience facilitating courses in an online environment.
- Experience with program development and evaluation required.
- Experience with curriculum development required.
- Demonstrated teaching and service record in higher education required.
- Experience as a clinical educator or site visitor preferred and encouraged.
- Experience supervising professional faculty and staff, including planning, organizing, directing and evaluating on a daily basis.
- Demonstrated experience as a team leader.
- Expertise working in a technoloy-driven enterprise preferred.
- All skills, abilities and education will be considered for minimum qualifications.
Working Conditions
This position operates in a remote, home office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and phones.
