This position is for a full-time tenure-track position with primary teaching responsibilities in the Psych Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program. This position will also include acting as the PMHNP Program Lead/ Track Coordinator. Regularly scheduled courses will include teaching management of substance-related and addictive disorders, a series of PMHNP courses that include psychology, assessment, diagnosis and management across the lifespan, and a PMHNP capstone course.
Teaching responsibilities will include: coordination of the course activities for didactic/hybrid, lab (if applicable to course) and clinical components of the course; communicating with clinical and lab faculty associated with the course; teaching and evaluation of the students, clinical supervision or instruction. Additional responsibilities include: possible supervision or participation in DNP project committees, participation in department committees and meetings, evaluation activities for the program, participation in University faculty assembly, participation in additional school activities, such as pinning, graduation, orientation. This position reports to the PLU School of Nursing Associate Dean/Dean.

Required Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree (PhD, EdD, DNP). ABD will be considered, but doctorate degree must be in hand by the date of appointment.
- At least one graduate or doctoral degree must be in nursing.
- Hold unencumbered or be eligible for RN license in WA.
- Certification as a PMHNP or PMHCNS.
- 3 years clinical experience in related area.
