Florida State University College of Nursing is one of the nation’s elite schools and is dedicated to advancing the nursing profession through rigorous educational programs, clinical opportunities, and dissemination of evidenced-based interdisciplinary research.

With 125 million in new funding toward the FSU Health Academic Health Center and a recent National Institutes of Health U54 14.5-million Faculty Institutional Recruitment for Sustainable Transformation (FIRST) Program grant, a new $72.7 million NIH Award to Combat HIV Epidemic, along with the expansion of our academic programs, our college is gleaming with opportunity. We are the only nursing-led college in the nation to be selected in the initial round of the FIRST program which works to develop 6 early-career researchers (Startup funding $260K+) in cohort models with commitment to diversity and inclusive excellence and research excellence in chronic disease prevention and management or mental health.

FSU College of Nursing seeks to recruit faculty and postdoctoral fellows with expertise in promoting the advancement of health equity for all, in management of complex care needs, in precision health, in digital health, in brain science and symptom management, in aging and caregiving science, in educational and simulation innovations, and in nursing informatics.  

We invite PhD prepared nurse scientists and nurse practitioners to apply for the following positions. Remote positions negotiable for NIH-funded tenure track and PhD prepared nurse practitioner faculty. Competitive salary. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
