Lamar University (LU) seeks an experienced administrator, educator, and researcher to serve as Chair of the JoAnne Gay Dishman School of Nursing. Reporting to the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, the Chair will oversee all aspects of the School’s teaching, research, and service missions. The ideal candidate will be an engaged and visionary leader with academic and clinical qualifications supportive of the School’s mission of providing high-quality nursing education to undergraduate and graduate students. Those reflecting the School’s priorities of continual inquiry, creativity, and integrity promoted through teaching, scholarship, leadership, and service are encouraged to apply. This is a 12-month position overseeing eight staff and 34 full-time faculty, including tenured, tenure-track, and instructors.
