Chair, School of Nursing, University of Central Missouri
UCM is a public comprehensive university with more than 12,500 students seeking a chair of the School of Nursing. UCM provides a small-college learning environment coupled with large- university opportunities and is located 40 miles southeast of the Kansas City Metropolitan area in Warrensburg, MO. The school has 22 full-time faculty and staff as well as clinical adjunct faculty. The Chair will have duties at the main UCM campus in Warrensburg, MO and at the Missouri Innovation Center in Lee’s Summit, MO. The school offers a BSN with an online RN to BSN option, an online MSN program with two tracks:
Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Nurse Educator (NE). In addition, there are two Post-Master’s
certification areas for FNP and NE.
REQUIRED:
Earned Doctorate (terminal) degree in Nursing, Higher Education Leadership, or a related field
Unencumbered, current, active registered nursing (RN) licensure in Missouri or compact license without any history of previous discipline.
