The School of Nursing at Pepperdine University seeks candidates for a tenure-track faculty appointment at the rank of assistant, associate, or full professor for its developing Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Entry Level Master’s Degree in Nursing (ELM) programs. Successful candidates should have an earned terminal degree (academic or clinical doctorate), and commitment to student success. All full-time faculty teaching in the nursing program must meet the required qualifications noted in the California Code of Regulations, Title 16, Division 14, Article 3, 1425 Faculty—Qualifications and Changes, Section (c) to be hired.

Regular full-time employment start date will be August 1, 2025. Pending availability and need, select faculty may be provided the opportunity to begin in June or July, 2025 to ensure program readiness in August. Both programs are offered on Pepperdine’s Malibu and Calabasas campuses and all faculty appointments are in-person.

The salary for a full-time 12-month appointment will range from $100,000 to $190,000 and reflects what Pepperdine reasonably expects to pay for this faculty appointment. Actual salary may vary based on the qualifications and experience of the applicant, as well as market conditions. In addition to salary, Pepperdine offers a robust suite of employee benefits

The BSN and ELM programs at Pepperdine University are pending approval by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) Senior College & University Commission (WSCUC). The BSN and ELM programs plan to enroll their first cohort of students in Fall 2025.
