The UNC School of Nursing seeks accomplished individuals to join our dynamic team. We are recruiting faculty whose programs of research demonstrate innovation and interdisciplinary collaborations in the areas of nursing and health systems, biobehavioral research, digital innovations, multi-level determinants of health, community engagement, preventing chronic illness, and promoting health. We seek applicants who will complement, strengthen and enhance our School’s current research in these areas. To help us train the next generation of nursing leaders and scientists, applicants should demonstrate a strong record of teaching and mentorship of both faculty and students.  We will consider applicants at the rank of Assistant Professor for those with advanced and exceptional publication and funding portfolios.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

PhD in Nursing Science or a related discipline from an accredited institution. A record of independent, sustained research supported by external research funding, scholarly products, a national or international reputation, and demonstrated intra- and interdisciplinary collaborations commensurate with rank.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

A strong record of mentoring students and faculty commensurate with rank. Demonstrated strength in teaching. Experience developing nurse-led models of care or implementing interventions in collaboration with healthcare systems and academic partners.
