We are particularly interested in those with specialization in health equity (HEq), psychiatric mental health (PMH), adult/gerontology (AG), community engagement (CE) and/or advanced nursing practice (ANP).
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ph.D. or other research doctoral degree in nursing and eligible for a tenured faculty appointment in the School of Nursing. If earned doctorate is not in nursing, must have a master’s degree in nursing.
- New York State license as a registered nurse required or following hire.
- New York State Nurse Practitioner Licensure (Adult/Gerontology, Family, or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner) is a plus.
- Academic teaching experience and five (5) years of clinical experience, particularly advanced practice in health centers serving under resourced communities, is desirable.
- Will demonstrate strong leadership and mentoring abilities and exemplify a commitment to health equity and belonging for all.
- Research, scholarship and academic teaching experience should align with the School mission and strategic goals.
Salary range: $70,815 to $102,017 commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. We also provide mentoring and support for research, scholarship, and publication as part of our commitment to ongoing faculty professional development.
