Note: The Spring EDS is open only to the institutional dean/director/chair of AACN member schools of nursing and is offered in conjunction with the 2018 AACN Deans Annual Meeting.

The Fall Executive Development Series is offered in conjunction with the 2018 Baccalaureate Education Conference; the same program will precede the Deans Annual Meeting.

Reagan National Airport (DCA) is located approximately 15 minutes from The Fairmont Washington and is Metro accessible. The closest Metro station to the hotel is GWU/Foggy Bottom on the Orange/Blue line, 3 blocks from The Fairmont Washington. Taxi fare from Reagan National (DCA) is approximately $20 each way.

Dulles International Airport (IAD) is approximately 34 minutes from the hotel. Taxi fare from Dulles Airport (IAD) is approximately $71 each way.

Baltimore/Washington Airport (BWI) is approximately 45 minutes from the hotel.

Continuing Education Credit

The American Association of Colleges of Nursing is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) Commission on Accreditation.

Continuing nursing education (CNE) hours will be awarded to those who attest to attendance at entire sessions and complete the electronic evaluation process after the conference. The CNE certificate will be provided online only after completion of evaluation.

Substitution, Cancellation, and Refund Policies

If you subsequently cannot attend this event, the following options are available:

1. No Substitutions are allowed for the Spring Executive Development Series as it is open only to the primary Dean/Chair/Director of AACN-Member Schools of Nursing.

2. Your cancellation request must be received in writing and confirmed by AACN; otherwise, it cannot be honored. The following refund arrangements will then apply:

a. Cancellation requests received by March 9, 2018 will be refunded minus a $150 non-refundable administrative fee.
b. Cancellation requests received after March 9, 2018 will not be granted any refunds.
c. Refunds will not be given for no-shows.
d. No-show registrations with an open balance will be charged a $150 non-refundable administrative fee after the event.

Please note: Cancellations received fewer than 7 days prior to the event start date will be reviewed and processed within two weeks after the last day of the event.

AACN reserves the right to cancel this conference and any group activity that does not meet minimal group requirements. AACN assumes no responsibility for non-refundable airline tickets, hotel reservations, car rental, or other travel costs.
