Breaking the Mold: The Spectrum of Non-Traditional and Clinical Instruction
Imagine that today you are planning to work with your students on the importance of communication in diverse teams. Instead of putting on your lab coat, you ‘boot up’ your computer, log in, and meet your clinical group in virtual space. Traditional clinical instruction rarely gives instructors the opportunity to teach some of the most critical interpersonal skills our students need. This session is going to teach you how get out your ‘traditional environment’ and into some cutting-edge techniques such as virtual, game-based and others, to make sure your students are successful when they graduate and take their first jobs.
