Course Objectives

• Collect baseline data to describe a healthcare microsystem patient population.
• Analyze and synthesize specific outcome measures that are most common for a clinical microsystem that directly impact care quality.
• Apply epidemiological methodology in care coordination for a group of patients based on desired outcomes consistent with evidence-based practice guidelines and standards of care.
• Evaluate different types of data presentation techniques to address variations in clinical outcomes.
