Course Objectives

• Explain the unique role of the CNL in healthcare advocacy.
• Fescribe how the CNL can effectively advocate for clients and populations at both the microsystem and macrosystem level.
• Describe how advocacy relates to at least five (5) assumptions regarding the CNL role.
• Analyze how a CNL facilitates lateral integration in providing continuum of care that is patient centric through partnering with multiple disciplines in health care.
