Debriefing in Simulation Based Education
Webinar Overview
Debriefing following simulation experiences is critical for learning. It requires a set of skills and techniques for the facilitator that is not always transferable from the didactic teaching skill set of most nursing professors. Using the INACSL Standards of Best Practice: Simulation Standard VI: The Debriefing Process, as a guide, this Webinar will provide an overview of the critical elements of debriefing, regardless of the model used. In addition, the importance of the facilitator, the environment, and the structure of the conversation will also be discussed.
NOTE: This Webinar is open to everyone including non-members, communities of interest, practice representatives, and AACN member schools including deans, faculty, staff and students.
