Group Work in Online RN-BSN Programs Part II: Faculty Facilitation and Evaluation
Webinar Overview
In part two of this Webinar series, the issues of faculty facilitation and evaluation of collaborative learning activities is discussed. To be effective facilitators, instructors should understand how to guide collaborative work, identify potential problems, and understand how assignment and evaluation fit into the curriculum at the course and program levels. Evaluation strategies need to be clear for the instructor and students, and may be designed to emphasize particular outcomes in the program. (See Part One for designing collaborative activities). There are several tools that may support strategies for facilitating collaboration and to evaluate group process and performance; accordingly, these tools can be modified to meet program-specific needs. span class="large">
