In this webinar, two interprofessional centers, one in Canada and one in the U.S., share insights, processes and strategies for building and sustaining strong partnerships between education and practice.

Dr. Gerri Lamb is the Director of Arizona State University’s Center for Advancing Interprofessional Practice, Education and Research and Professor in the College of Nursing and Health Innovation. She is very active in the interprofessional practice and education community. Dr. Lamb coordinates the state-wide Arizona Nexus with the National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education and served as the 2015-2016 chair of the American Interprofessional Health Collaborative. Dr. Lamb has received 3 grants from the Josiah Macy Jr Foundation to advance interprofessional academic-clinical initiatives at ASU. She has co-chaired the National Quality Forum’s standing committee on care coordination since 2008 and serves on several national panels and workgroups on care coordination performance measurement. She works with ASU’s clinical partners on improving care coordination practice and delivery systems.

Lynne Sinclair is a Physical Therapist, Educational Consultant and the Innovative Program and External Development Lead at the Centre for Interprofessional Education, University of Toronto (UT). She holds an Assistant Professor appointment with the Department of Physical Therapy, Faculty of Medicine at UT and has 24 years of experience on the Faculty of Medicine. Lynne was appointed in 2015 as the first Interprofessional Education Scholar-in-Residence at The School of Community and Health Studies at Centennial College. She has been a principle investigator or investigator on numerous education initiatives and research projects totaling over $5 million. Lynne has received numerous awards including: 2008 UT Faculty of Medicine - Helen P. Batty Award in Faculty Development for Teaching Excellence; June 2013 Honourary Bachelor Degree in Applied Studies by Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning; and a 2016 Distinguished Alumni Award from The Faculty of Health Sciences at Queen’s University.
