Webinar Overview

Mentoring opportunities in graduate programs can lead to the development of valuable skills and professional relationships. Based on feedback from GNSA members, the GNSA Leadership Council is launching a mentoring pilot program to meet the needs of graduate nursing students. The test group for the pilot program will consist of 50 participants, and is only open to current GNSA Liaisons
Current GNSA Liaisons are invited to join this webinar to learn more about what they can expect from this pilot mentoring program. Liaisons will have the opportunity to hear from a member of the GNSA Leadership Council and AACN staff about the selection process and how the GNSA will facilitate this program. The end of the webinar will serve as a Q&A session, so Liaisons are encouraged to prepare questions for the speakers.
Objectives:
  • Introduce a peer to peer mentoring opportunity to current GNSA Liaisons
  • Outline how the GNSA will facilitate future career guidance and leadership development during the trial period
  • Provide an overview of the mentoring program structure and requirements
