Webinar Overview

Transitioning from an experienced RN to a novice NP can be a daunting experience. Understanding the process and being prepared will lessen the stress of this transition. This session will review the required documentation, examination, and certification as well as licensing preparation required for this transition. A discussion will also be held on the overall role transition process.

Objectives:
  • Identify coursework strategies that prepare an NP student for graduation.
  • Explain necessary steps that prepare an NP student for certification and licensing.
  • Identify strategies that assist new NPs in the employment process.

This webinar is free to deans, faculty, staff and students from AACN member schools of nursing. All non-member audiences will be required to pay a $59 webinar fee. 
Continuing Education Credits:

Eligible attendees may receive one continuing nursing education (CNE) contact hour for participating in this webinar. The American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) is an accredited CNE-provider by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
