Webinar Overview

Faculty often encourage students to publish their school papers and projects so that valuable information from their work is widely disseminated and applied in practice. This session focuses on the major differences between school papers and publishable manuscripts. Key steps in the process of successful publication are covered and strategies to avoid pitfalls are addressed.

Objectives

  • Differentiate the characteristics of a school paper versus those of a journal article.
  • Describe the process of the development, submission, and review of an original manuscript.
  • Review criteria that strengthen potential for publication.
  • Explain pitfalls to avoid.
