GNSA Advocacy Leaders

Join the GNSA Advocacy Leaders to Engage in Advocacy at the National Level

The GNSA Advocacy Leaders maximize AACN's advocacy efforts on behalf of graduate nursing students. Consisting of 2 representatives from each state including the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, these nursing leaders participate in quarterly conference calls to develop their advocacy skills and become informed on the latest health policy discussions. The GNSA Advocacy Leaders create a greater impact in amplifying AACN's policy and advocacy messaging and provide feedback to AACN staff on policy issues that are of importance to graduate nursing students.

Don’t see two representatives for your state? Apply to become a GNSA Advocacy Leader by completing the following online application.

If you have any questions, contact Marta Okoniewski, Director of Student Engagement at mokoniewski@aacnnursing.org, or Kate Priddy, Government Affairs and Digital Advocacy Coordinator at kpriddy@aacnnursing.org.
