The Foundation for Academic Nursing, the new philanthropic arm of AACN, is pleased to announce an additional $47,500 in funding, 95 awards in the amount of $500 will be made directly to nursing students, with the goal of funding students in every state. All applications will be reviewed, and recipients will be selected by AACN with funds distributed via its philanthropic arm. Students interested in applying for an award must complete an online application posted on the AACN website. Students applying must be enrolled full-time in an AACN member school and provide contact information for their advisor who can confirm that the student is in good standing. Students selected for funding will be notified by July 20.

Hurst Review, a leading NCLEX®-RN review course provider and AACN has launched a new scholarship program for students in pre-licensure entry-level baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral nursing programs. Administered by AACN’s Foundation for Academic Nursing, scholarships in the amount of $2,500 each will be awarded to a deserving nursing student prior to the Spring, Fall, and Summer semesters.

This $3,500 scholarship is designed to recognize graduate nursing students who aspire to leadership positions in academic nursing. Applications for the scholarship program are open now and will be accepted through October 30, 2020. Scholarships will be awarded on November 30, 2020, and those selected for funding will make individual arrangements to complete the leadership development experience during the summer of 2021.
