The College of Graduate Nursing at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California is seeking innovative, humanistic faculty who love to teach for tenure and non-tenure track positions to teach in the Master of Science in Nursing and/or Doctor of Nursing Practice programs. Minimum qualifications for FNP Director and DNP Director are:

  • Family Nurse Practitioner
  • Doctoral degree in nursing or related discipline
  • Current RN license, Eligibility for RN licensure in CA.
  • Teaching experience at the graduate level
  • Current clinical practice experience

Minimum qualifications for Clinical Coordinator - Faculty positions are:

  • Master’s degree in nursing(Doctoral degree in nursing or related discipline preferred)
  • Current RN license, Eligibility for RN licensure in CA.
  • Teaching experience at the graduate level
  • Current clinical practice experience

The faculty member will be supported in teaching, conducting scholarly activities, and engaging in professional and community service.

The College of Graduate Nursing (CGN) has a strong community presence and a national reputation for excellence and innovation. Our graduate programs include the Master of Science in Nursing and the Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees, and the Family Nurse Practitioner certificate. Within the MSN degree there are three concentrations: Ambulatory Care Nursing, Administrative Nurse Leader, and Clinical Nurse Leader. Degrees are earned through both campus-based programs, and a hybrid web-based and campus-based seminar program.
