Are your students meeting the AACN CARES palliative care competencies for all undergraduate nursing students? These competencies prepare students to provide primary palliative care, which all patients with serious illness and their families need and employers are demanding. The interactive, online 6 one-hour modules that comprise the ELNEC- Undergraduate Curriculum prepare all students to meet these competencies. Today, there are over 9,000 students, representing more than 200 schools of nursing across the nation, who have completed or are completing the curriculum since the launch of the curriculum in January 2017. See the ELNEC-Undergraduate Champions List for BSN and pre-licensure programs that are leading the way!
If your school is in one of the Cambia Health Foundation funded states (ID, WA, OR, and UT) your students can receive this curriculum at no charge; however, grant funding support ends June 30th. You must enroll your school by June 1, 2018 to take advantage of this great opportunity. Your students will have access to the curriculum for one full year after enrollment. Don’t miss out!
