Oncology Nursing Society Seeking Scholar in Residence to Support Cancer Nursing Research

The Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) is seeking candidates to serve as the Scholar-in-Residence (SIR). This position is structured to fund part-time effort of a nurse scientist in academia or at a cancer institute. The Scholar-in-Residence is an advisor to ONS in the support of cancer nursing research and development of nurse scientists.  Candidates will have a PhD or DNSc with 5 or more years of research and successful funding experience. The Scholar-in-Residence reports to the Chief Clinical Officer of the ONS Enterprise. Click here to learn more about this opportunity.

2023 Student Policy Summit
 
AACN’s Student Policy Summit (SPS), held in our nation’s capital March 26-27, is open to baccalaureate and graduate students enrolled at AACN member institutions. Up to two students can attend per institution and should have approval from the dean of that school. Students who attend SPS are immersed in program sessions focused on the federal policy process and nursing’s role in professional advocacy.

Graduate Nursing Student Academy
 
The Graduate Nursing Student Academy (GNSA) provides free programs, services, and resources to graduate nursing students enrolled in master's and doctoral programs at AACN member schools. Encourage your students to join, as GNSA membership would help them prepare for careers as faculty members, researchers, advanced practice registered nurses, nurse leaders, policy experts, and healthcare administrators.

Want your school to be in the Hall of Fame too? It’s easy! All it takes is for an institution to have 10 students enroll in programs utilizing the ELNEC Undergraduate/New Graduate Curriculum and/or 5 using the ELNEC Graduate Curriculum. To include your program in the Hall of Fame, click here for more details. (You must use school email to enroll).
