Nomination Deadlines Approaching for Three Prestigious AACN Awards

Don’t delay! The deadlines to nominate outstanding individuals and institutions for three important AACN awards are quickly approaching.

 

Sister Bernadette Armiger Award

The Sister Bernadette Armiger Award recognizes a nursing leader who has made significant contributions to the American Association of Colleges of Nursing and its goals, to nursing education, and to the advancement of the profession. It is presented annually at the AACN Academic Nursing Leadership Conference. The deadline to submit a nomination is June 3, 2019View award criteria and nomination process.

Innovations in Professional Nursing Education Award

The Innovations in Professional Nursing Education Award recognizes the outstanding work of AACN member schools to re-envision traditional models for nursing education and lead programmatic change. Innovation awards, including a monetary prize of $1,000, will be given annually in four institutional categories: Small/Liberal Arts Colleges; Academic Health Centers (AHC); Private Colleges/Universities; and Public Colleges/Universities. Exemplary Academic-Practice Partnership Award

The Exemplary Academic-Practice Partnership Award recognizes AACN member institutions involved in highly productive and model academic-practice partnerships. This award is presented annually at the AACN Academic Nursing Leadership Conference. The deadline to submit a nomination is June 7, 2019. View award criteria and nomination process.
