Welcome and Meeting of the Minds
Academic leaders perform far better if they understand themselves and others. When people feel truly seen and heard, their job satisfaction and productivity rise. This session guides the participant to gain a greater understanding of the various ways self and others think. Helpful information and tools on how to approach various behavior styles, interpretation of differences, and cognitive diversity to improve outcomes are addressed. Strategies to enhance communication and collaboration for effective problem solving are explored.

Elevating Leadership and Teams
Interpreting behavior through our own lens may sometimes be inaccurate. Discover positive and productive ways to understand and respond to those who behave differently than we do. This session offers insights into understanding various behavior styles to strengthen team development, maximize the benefit of divergent behavior and thought, examine individual and team interactions, and enhance communication and culture.

Be Change Ready
Nursing leaders must be able to lead change well, which includes adjusting to and coping with unwanted change. Knowing that people tend to support what they create is an essential element for leading change, both within the school of nursing and with those outside the profession. This session helps you recognize the stages of change, apply the wisdom needed to manage change, and offer fresh approaches for navigating change.
