Drs. Andra Davis and Megan Lippe have developed several instruments to evaluate nursing students primary palliative care knowledge, perceived competence, and/or competence. Faculty may want to use the instruments in a number of ways, formatively or summatively in individual courses, longitudinally, or perhaps to evaluate achievement of particular program outcomes. This Qualtrics link provides access to the instruments free of charge for use in education and/or research projects. The available instruments are:
- Undergraduate Nursing Palliative Care Knowledge Survey (UNPCKS) (Davis et al., 2020)
- Undergraduate perceived competence: CARES PC 2.0 (Lippe et al., 2020)
- Graduate perceived competence: G-CARES PC 2.0
- Primary Palliative Nursing Care Competence Assessment Tool [PPNC-CAT] (Lippe & Davis, 2023)
