AACN Continues Partnership with All of Us Research Program

This past year, AACN continued its successful partnership with the National Institutes of Health to educate nursing students, faculty, clinicians, and researchers about the All of Us Research Program. All of Us is a national initiative that focuses on the inclusion of historically underrepresented communities in biomedical research with the goal of accelerating health research breakthroughs and extending precision medicine to all diseases. To support this effort, AACN has connected with nursing students and researchers at national conferences, including the National Student Nursing Association, Southern Nursing Research Society, and Midwest Nursing Research Society. AACN also collaborated with many member schools to educate their students and the broader regional communities on the program, including Morgan State University, North Carolina Central University, Northern Illinois University, Azusa Pacific University, Pace University, and Northwestern State University of Louisiana. The All of Us Research Program will change the future of health care if enough of us get involved! Check out our Twitter posts @AACNPolicy to see more of AACN’s work on All of Us.
