AACN Remembers Barbara Lynn Jonas

Barbara Lynn Jonas, MSW, FAAN (1933-2018)

On October 23, AACN was notified of the passing of Barbara Jonas, co-founder of Jonas Philanthropies.

AACN extends heartfelt sympathies to Ms. Jonas' family, friends, and especially to her husband Donald Jonas. Mrs. Jonas was a true activist and advocate for nursing education.

We will provide more information as we receive it. According to Jonas Philanthropies, in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Barbara Jonas may be directed to Jonas Philanthropies, Inc. P.O. Box 705, New York, NY 10032, or online at www.jonasphilanthropies.org/donate. Services to be arranged privately by the family.
