Call for Letters of Intent: Up to $100,000 in Potential CDC Funding for Member Schools

As the most trusted healthcare provider, nurses play an essential role in boosting COVID-19 vaccine confidence among other nurses, healthcare providers, and patients. Therefore, nurses must be well-prepared to provide education and information to overcome vaccine hesitancy. In cooperation with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), AACN is issuing a request for letters of intent from member schools for projects boosting and empowering COVID-19 vaccine confidence among nursing students, nurses and other healthcare providers, and in communities, particularly with underrepresented, vulnerable, and at-risk populations. Projects must support the development and dissemination of learning resources, materials, and opportunities to address vaccine hesitancy to increase confidence in delivering key messages and accessing information. The project period is approximately 10 months beginning in September 2021, and funded projects may receive up to $100,000. AACN has issued this Call for Letters of Intent to strengthen our application to the CDC for available funding. If this funding is received, projects will be selected from among those schools who submitted a letter to AACN by June 30. For more information or to apply, click here.
