December 15 Deadline for Grant Funding Opportunity Open to West Coast Schools Wednesday, November 29, 2017 AACN is pleased to offer competitive mini-grant awards to member schools through a new collaboration with the National Institutes of Health (NIH).West Coast school applications will be considered for proposals on accelerating the dissemination of information for the All of Us Research Program to historically underrepresented communities in biomedical research.This initiative is designed to promote collaboration between established community partners and academic nursing to increase engagement in the All of Us Research Program. AACN encourages relevant applications with a focus on the dissemination of pre-approved NIH information on the Precision Medicine Initiative. Proposals should delineate the intended communications pathways and vehicles of dissemination. Applications must include a communication plan listing objectives, strategies, and tactics to be used to reach the target audience(s) through established community partners; communication pathways with analytics; and other key industry measures that illustrate impact.
