Elevating Leaders in Academic Nursing (ELAN) Program

If you're an aspiring dean or senior faculty in a leadership role, the Elevating Leaders in Academic Nursing (ELAN) program is designed to enhance the leadership skills you need to lead the nursing academic unit. The year-long fellowship kicks off with a week-long in-person workshop in Chaska, MN from July 28-August 2, 2019, followed by two 4-hour e-learning workshops, access to an online community, and virtual peer group discussions. The seminar will cover topics including theories of leadership, peer learning and feedback mechanisms, and developing plans for intervention. ELAN is dedicated to your growth and the key leadership competencies you need to thrive in nursing education and general healthcare environments. ELAN is the revamped successor to the Leadership for Academic Nursing Program (LANP).
