Policy Watch: AACN's 2025 Hill Day

On Monday, November 3, AACN hosted its 2025 Hill Day as part of the Academic Nursing Leadership Conference. This year, more than 220 AACN members, representing 42 states, had over 200 meetings with their members of Congress. Hill Day attendees asked their elected officials to protect critical federal infrastructure that supports the nursing workforce, invest in funding for Title VIII Nursing Workforce Development Programs and the National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR), and pass the Title VIII Nursing Workforce Reauthorization Act of 2025 (S.1874/H.R.3593). AACN appreciates all of our Advocates for making this Hill Day a success.
