Uniform Advantage Relaunches Scholarship Program through AACN’s Foundation for Academic Nursing

WASHINGTON, DC, January 3, 2024 – The American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) is pleased to announce that Uniform Advantage, a leading multi-channel retailer of medical scrubs and uniforms, has committed $30,000 to supporting a scholarship program open to graduate nursing students attending AACN member schools. First launched in 2019, the Uniform Advantage-GNSA Scholarship Program was created to support nursing students pursuing master’s or doctoral degrees who are members of AACN’s Graduate Nursing Student Academy (GNSA). This new funding commitment will ensure continuation of this scholarship through 2028 under the administration of AACN’s Foundation for Academic Nursing.

"Empowering the next generation of healthcare heroes is a privilege we proudly embrace. Supporting a graduate nursing scholarship isn’t just an investment in education; it’s a commitment to a future where compassionate care knows no bounds,” said Susan Masimore, CEO of Uniform Advantage.

The Uniform Advantage-GNSA Scholarship Program is open to nursing students in master’s or doctoral programs who are committed to making a positive impact on the nation’s health and health care.
