Jonas Nursing Announces New Leaders to Serve on the Jonas Scholar Alumni Council

Jonas Nursing is pleased to announce the newest members of the Jonas Scholar Alumni Council, a dynamic group of leaders dedicated to fostering an enduring connection between the nation’s leading philanthropy for doctoral nursing education and the more than 1,400 nurses who have received support. The Alumni Council plays a vital role in strengthening the bond between the Scholar alumni network and Jonas Nursing, ensuring continued collaboration, professional development opportunities, and advancement of nursing excellence.

The newly appointed Alumni Council members bring a wealth of experience, passion, and commitment to advancing the mission of Jonas Nursing. Their leadership will help cultivate a vibrant alumni community, support nurse leaders, and promote lifelong engagement with the Jonas Scholars program.

Alumni Council members will serve two-year terms through the summer of 2027. Members work for institutions located across nine different states and represent five of the seven cohorts of Jonas Scholar alumni. "These Council members are uniquely positioned to reach and engage our nationwide community of Jonas Scholars," shared John Jonas, Co-President of Jonas Philanthropies. "By building bridges across regions and generations, they will help amplify the impact our Scholars have shaping the future of nursing education, research, and practice."
