This period offers an opportunity to connect directly with your federal elected leaders and highlight priority concerns. AACN encourages you to take action and send messages to your Members of Congress urging them to support nursing education, workforce, and research. Your outreach is especially timely, as Congress prepares to consider key legislative and appropriations priorities when it returns on August 31. Research Listening Session for Practice Leadership and Clinical Based Nurse Scientists On Tuesday, September 3 from 3:30- 4:45 pm (ET), AACN and the American Academy of Nursing are hosting an interactive listening session to discuss how to advance the future of nursing science. This session is open to practice leaders and clinical-based nurse scientists. Attendance will be capped at 75 registrants on a first-come, first-served basis. Click here to register by August 31.
