Release of the President’s Fiscal Year (FY) 2027 Budget

On April 3, the President released his FY 2027 budget proposal, which called for the elimination of most Title VIII Nursing Workforce Development Programs and a reduction in funding for the National Institute of Nursing Research. See AACN’s press release and appropriations chart.

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) will be hosting a virtual job fair on April 15 from 6:00-9:00 pm (ET).
