Six AACN Member Schools Receive Funding to Support Efforts to Accelerate Nursing Research and Advance Precision Health

The American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) is pleased to announce that six nursing schools have been selected to receive funding to help raise awareness about the All of Us Research Program. The schools selected this year to receive funding include:

  • Duke University
  • Loyola University–Chicago
  • University of North Carolina–Greensboro
  • University of Rochester
  • University of Texas Health Science Center–Houston
  • Washington State University

Launched by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the All of Us Research Program seeks to build a national health database of more than one million individuals reflecting the diversity of those living in the United States. AACN joined with NIH to advance this initiative by administering mini-grants to facilitate the engagement of nurse researchers with the All of Us Research Workbench. This initiative encourages innovative and collaborative research with NIH as well as the dissemination of research findings and the goals driving the All of Us Research Program.Funded schools will gain access to the rich data resources available through this initiative to help advance their programs of research.
