Emotional & Social Intelligence: Managing an Unpredictable Present for a More Predictable Future
Join your professional nursing colleagues as we examine and discuss developing social and emotional intelligence in your students, healthcare teams, and yourself. We will delve into the history and development of these important concepts and discuss research related to nursing and healthcare. Finally, we will actively apply the concepts of self and other awareness in small group exercises to enhance our professional and personal well-being.
Who Should Attend:
The Organizational Leadership Network (OLN) Program is open to Network Members and others.
OLN is comprised of nursing academic leaders with broad administrative responsibilities, including associate deans and assistant deans. Networking within this group will be facilitated through programs, meetings, and electronic communications.

Your well-being is AACN’s No. 1 priority!
AACN has revised its policies for the health and safety of in-person conference attendance. All meeting attendees, speakers, partners, and AACN staff are required to show verification of full COVID-19 vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours of travel in order to obtain access to event spaces. Unvaccinated individuals or those unable to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test will not be permitted to attend. AACN will be utilizing a Digital Verification Process through Health Pass by CLEAR, which provides a secure, digital verification of your vaccination status or negative test results via the free CLEAR mobile app. AACN will provide detailed instructions to all in-person attendees approximately 10 days prior to the conference start date.
AACN will continue to monitor any new developments and evaluate what is needed to ensure you are comfortable and we meet safely. We will keep all participants updated as we get closer to the event.
