This event is designed for individuals involved in promoting, administering, and engaging in faculty practice, which is coordinated by AACN’s Practice Leadership Network. Emphasis is being placed on the need for practice savvy educators who can translate current healthcare environment scenarios to the classroom at every level.

How to Attend:

The Faculty Practice Pre-Conference will be offered as an in-person event prior to the Doctoral Education Conference.

AACN has revised its policies for entry to in-person conferences: verification of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test will no longer be required. Call for Abstracts

The Business of Faculty Practice: Building Your Skillset

The Faculty Practice Call for Abstracts is now closed. Abstract submission notifications will be sent on October 11, 2022.

General Information & Reminders for Submitted Abstracts:

  • The primary author will be the point of contact for all communication with AACN.
  • Primary authors on all accepted abstracts must register for the conference and present the abstract in-person.
  • Poster Presentations will be offered in-person at the conference venue – Hotel Del Coronado in Coronado, CA.
  • Poster Presentation are presented on double-sided poster boards holding one (1) poster per board. All posters should be oriented in landscape format and must not exceed 48" W x 36" H.
