Scrubin Uniforms | Better Service. Better Price.Scrubin Uniforms - AACN Scholarship

The Scrubin Uniforms/AACN Scholarship supports nursing students in baccalaureate, master’s and doctoral programs who are enrolled at AACN member schools with a formal affiliation agreement with Scrubin Uniforms.

The scholarship will provide $2,500 three times each year. The deadlines are September 1, December 1, and March 1. The September 1 deadline will be dedicated to funding a student interested in serving in a faculty role after graduation.  To apply, students must complete an online application, provide demographic information and details on their academic achievement, and submit a short essay.

Nurse Think | a Nursetim brandNurseThink® - AACN Scholarship

The NurseThink® - AACN Scholarship supports students enrolled in master's and doctoral nursing programs at AACN member institutions who have a desire to become future nurse faculty. The fund will provide a  $5,000 scholarship awards to students twice a year through 2026.

The NurseThink®-AACN Scholarship is open to all students who are members of the Graduate Nursing Student Academy. To apply, students must complete an online application, provide demographic information and details on their academic achievement, and submit a short essay outlining their plans to teach after graduation.

Liaison LogoDeborah E. Trautman Future Nurse Leader Scholarship

Funded by Liaison International, AACN’s partner in NursingCAS, this scholarship and leadership development program was created in honor of AACN’s President and CEO Dr. Deborah Trautman. This $3,500 scholarship is designed to recognize graduate nursing students who aspire to leadership positions in academic nursing. In addition to $2,000 to cover educational expenses which is sent directly to the student, scholarship recipients will participate in a one-on-one leadership development experience with Dr. Trautman at AACN’s headquarters in Washington, DC. Up to $1,500 of the scholarship award will be used to cover travel expenses for the three-day leadership development program.

Applications for the scholarship program are open now and will be accepted through October 1, 2021. Scholarships will be awarded on November 30, 2021, and those selected for funding will make individual arrangements to complete the leadership development experience during the summer of 2022.

Aftercollege logoAfterCollege/AACN Nursing Scholarship Program

The AfterCollege-AACN Scholarship Fund supports students who are seeking a baccalaureate, master’s or doctoral degree in nursing. Special consideration will be given to students in a graduate program with the goal of becoming a nurse educator; completing an RN to BSN or MSN program; and those enrolled in an accelerated nursing program.

This scholarship program provides $5,000 in support to outstanding nursing students in baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral programs at AACN member institutions. Eligible applicants must have submitted an application through nursing’s centralized application service, NursingCAS

Hurst Review/AACN Nursing Scholarship

Hurst Review and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) are partnering to offer this scholarship program that recognizes and rewards entry-level nursing students for outstanding academic performance. All applicants must already be enrolled in an AACN member institution and maintain at least a 3.2 grade point average in their current program or last school attended. To check if your school is a member, see our member directory. One scholarship in the amount of $2,500 will be distributed twice yearly. The application deadlines are September 1 and February 1.

AACN Student Support Fund (formerly COVID-19 Student Support Fund)

The COVID-19 Nursing Student Support Fund provides one-time grants to nursing students enrolled in AACN member schools who need financial support to complete their nursing programs and/or meet life expenses. This fall, a total of 107 nursing students will receive $500 in support to help them overcome hardships linked to COVID-19. Since the program launched in April 2020, the Foundation has received almost 8,000 applications for funding and disbursed a total of 158 awards.The Foundation for Academic Nursing is seeking additional support from other corporate and individual donors for this fund to expand our ability to help more nursing students in need.
